Long Awaited Breakfast for Hubby

It has been ages since I last made breakfast bento for my hubby. I tried to cut a heart on the egg to reveal the egg yolk, but not nicely done, need to try again.

The breakfast bento consist of multi grain bread with peanut butter, hard boiled egg and edamame. I prepared soy sauce for the egg in the yellow sauce container beside the egg. I cut out a heart from the egg and placed it on top of the bread as deco, quite like that cut out heart.

Pasta for Dinner

I tried the Pooh seaweed cutter on egg today and used it to decorate J's dinner. I made him minced meat pasta. I marinated the minced meat with rosemary, thyme and all-purpose seasoning for few minutes and stir fry with water on non-stick pan. I added the cooked minced meat to cooked pasta and mix thoroughly with the ready-to-eat pasta then decorated with the egg.

Lunch Box

I bought this Hello Kitty lunch box and Shinkansen container from Kitty Palace in Novena Square. I intend to use the Shinkansen to bring damp hand towel out for J. I always bring along a damp hand towel for him so we don't use much wet wipes nowadays.

I'll consider this lunch box as a 2-tier lunch box. There's a small container when open up the face. The 'body' is the lower tier.

More Spoons & Forks

I went Daiso last week and got these. The spoons and forks set comes in 2 kinds of animals prints so I got both. The small cases can be used for sauces in bento.

Onigiri

I made use of the mini cube and triangle rice mold that I got from Daiso some time ago to make onigiri for J's lunch. To make the onigiri look better, I decorate it with seaweed and pink fish floss.
