Salad

Hubby made this salad last week. We intend to have salad for dinner on some days, as we're trying to lose weight and be healthy.

The salad consist of baby butterhead lettuce, cheese, cheery tomatos, sandwich ham and crab meat. We have the salad with sesame dressing which we got it from the Japanese food section from supermarket.

Fondue Set

I bought this fondue set from a Hello Kitty shop in Chinatownpoint. Like it very much when I saw in from a website. It comes with 2 food picks and a tealight.

Bento #67

Prepared this for J as dinner on Friday night. He was not feeling well that day, hope that he'll want to eat the dinner when it's packed in a lunch box. Or at least make him feel better. He was happy to see his 2-tier Mickey Mouse lunch box. I made used of the new cutters I bought recently to cut the cheese into bunny and musical notes.
The dinner consist of rice sprinkle with furikake, cheese as decoration for the rice, stir fry minced meat with mushroom and pumpkin.

Bento #66

Prepared something light and simple for J this morning. He has art class every Saturday, so made him this sandwich to eat on the way to the class.

I used the Tomica Car sandwich marker for the 2nd time to make sandwich. The first time decoration was a failure, couldnt get the details at all. It's not perfect this time but much better than the 1st time. I spread strawberry jam for the sandwhich and used milo as decoration for the details.

New Items

Received these cutters yesterday, like the musical notes shape cutters in the assorted cutters and the details of the animal cutters

Bento #65

I made this for J as his after school snack. This is to be shared among 3 children, my niece, nephew and J. But niece doesnt want, so the 2 boys finished the food in no time.

I packed the food in a 2-tier Thomas lunchbox. The upper tier consist of strawberries and pitted cherries, the lower tier consist of quail eggs and dark soy sauce in the star container.

I used a quail egg cutter to cut the egg into flora looking but find not nicely cut. Any tips?
